Photographer for under $1000?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a photographer in this price for preferably 5-6 hours?  So far the cheapest ones I've seen are 1200-1500.  I have no problem printing my own pictures.  Thanks!

    The girl I'm using is $100/hr including travel time.  Prints are additional.  I did not want to go with the other studios around me because I did not want to buy a package.

    I just booked Slemak Photography (http://www.slemak.com/) for my wedding next year. I can't speak for his work other than what is on his website, but he is pretty cheap ($600 for first 4 hours, $135 per hour after that) and easy to work with so far. He does not do wedding albums, so that keeps the cost down.
