Akron Area Reception Sites

Does anyone have input on the following reception sites: Martin University Center, Guy's Party Centre, Our Lady of the Cedars, Galaxy, and the Akron Hilton??

    what do you want to know exactly.  I can I believe all of them get positive reviews on here but all obviously different look, fee, etc.

    I wanted to know if anyone had any positive or negative experiences with any of the sites. I am just starting the planning process and am feeling overwhelmed with picking a venue. They are all very different sites. My first choice would be Martin University Center because I want to get married at the Chapel which is right next door. I went to a wedding at Guy's which was good, but it was years ago. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

     A friend of mine had her wedding at Guys Party center and it was great, as a guest the servers were polite, efficient and she said after words they packed up all the left overs perfectly. The sound system was good and they decorated and set up the linens for her as well, it was really pretty. Hope this helps.

    I am having my reception at the Martin Center.  It is not until October, but I looked at A LOT of places and this was the only place that seemed to be what I wanted.  The staff was willing to sit down and talk to us one on one. Is the Akron Hilton the one in Fairlawn?  If it is... It's a great place but in my opinion it is way over priced.  I liked the Martin Center because no one is going to be in the hall except my guest.  I guess it just  depends what you are looking for.

    I've been to several weddings at Guy's over the years, and they are very efficient.  The food is consistent and the staff is friendly.  No one that I know that has been there has anything bad to say.
