I've been thinking about making a short speech at our rehearsal dinner...and this is what I came up with. I'm really afraid of public speaking but I'm sure if I have a couple of drinks beforehand, I should be able to say a little something.
"Thank you all so much for being here tonight and this weekend. Michael and I are so lucky to have such loving and supporting family and friends. I’d like to thank Michael’s parents for hosting this wonderful rehearsal dinner. Also, a special thanks to my parents for hosting, what is sure to be, the most amazing wedding that we could have ever dreamed of. Thank you and we love you all so much!"
Too short? My FI will probably say something after me too so I don't want it to be too long, but I want to make sure that I give a semi-good little speech!
