Recs for Photographers Under $5K?

We are looking for a photographer who will do engagement and wedding photos for under $5K.  (We don't need an album...but would like the photographer to go through and touch things up if need be)

We would love a more "photojournalistic" approach.  We are getting married at the Hard Rock hotel in the Gaslamp district next summer.  Any help would be appreciated!!!

    Nathaniel Kam- easy to check him out on facebook and elsewhere. He does a complimentary E-session to test out working together and his work of you guys (with CD and all access to buying prints on pictage.)

    He works with your budget and is so nice! 
    We just stopped preventing January 2013! I use a tablet so please forgive my auto correct! :)

    Congratulations fellow San Diego/Gaslamp Quarters bride! I recommend Daniel Photography & Video (office in Costa Mesa). Even with the $125 mileage charge to San Diego they fell wonderfully within our DIY/Budget wedding. They do engagement sessions and their photography is great. They sent us photographer, Chris Diset. He was awesome! Even when our wedding fell behind schedule he wouldn't leave "til the job was done" although he was already off the clock. He didn't charge us for that extra time either. We got married on a Wed, our wedding picture disc was in our mail box by that Sat! We love our photos and get compliments on them.     Stephanie from Creative Photography.  She has several tiered options.  I am getting a $2600 package and it includes engagement, proof book, touch ups, and a full CD of ALL your pictures, and a super nice album.  The CD includes all touched photos and untouched.  She also is all about photo journalistic.  Check her out.

    http://dapperimages.com our package was in the 3K range, i thought we wouldn't be able to afford them when i first saw the website, their work is surreal.  they worked out a perfect package for us, we couldn't be happier with our choice.

    Frankel Photography. There base out of North County. I know they take all images for $999,00 with DVD of all images (they do minor touch ups) then post them. They are a husband and wife team and are great.

    M. Marie Photography is great!!! She is so fun and relaxing. My fiance and I  were in the bridal party at our friends wedding that she did. She is very profesional but relaxing. No wedding of hers goes over $2,000. Tell braswell sent her and she will probably give you a deal.
