  Also, I'm a vegan so IDK if there even are any specialty bakers in the area. I plan on calling the recommended bakers and asking if possible to make a vegan cake, but if anyone knows any in particular it would be a big help

  I love Society Bakery on Greenville and A&J Bakery on Oak Lawn for birthday cakes.  Also Nothing Bundt Cakes (there is one on Preston Road in Dallas) are scrumptious.  Don't know about vegan though, sorry.

  Sublime Bakery in Fort Worth does vegan goodies of all kinds, including cakes. And everything she makes is delicious and she's really sweet. My sister used to work there, and loved it!

  I love Paninis cakes in Dallas! Yum! Not sure on the vegan aspect though.

  i would recommend Panini's for regular cake and Sublime Bakery for a vegan cake.

  Thank you! I looked up Sublime and she reopens today, I'm going to give her a call and ask for some Lemon Pomegranate cupcakes! YUM. I also googled and found Spiral Diner? Anyone have reviews on that place as far as food or baked goods?

  Spiral Diner is actually really good. I've never had their baked goods, but their food is awesome so I'm sure the baked goods are as well. I'm not vegan, and I love their food.
