Nope I didnt celebrate either. I think I spent most of my day catching up on every show I had on my DVR. Which was not to the liking of my children LOL

Did go out, but came home early and didn't drink much... I think I'm becoming an old person lol. I basically spent the evening pissed off about SIL's wedding... it's a long story but I just want out of the WP and I don't even want to hear about it anymore. Unfortunately, there's no way to do this.

I had to work last night

The mall was super busy yesterday and even had a customer stay until 9:30 (stores close at 9) so my coworker and I didn't get out until 10:30, ugh.

I think I'm over reacting to this particular thing, but all of a sudden everything with her wedding is just getting to me! She sent FI and I pictures of our outfits that we both have to buy for her wedding... they're super ugly and nobody in her WP got a choice about it. She picked everything out by herself.

Then her FI sent an email to all his groomsmen, including my FI, asking them to be in his wedding (apparently he hadn't actually asked anyone yet), telling them who he was marrying (my SIL and her FI have been dating such a short period of time that his closest friends haven't even met her yet!), telling them how much the Indian outfit is, and explaining that WHEN they plan a bachelor party, he doesn't want anything tacky.

I realize that this isn't that big of a deal, but I'm just over it all. I would never choose to be friends with people like that, but you can't choose family! *sigh*

I'm burnt :\ I didn't do anything for St Patty's either lol but I went with a good friend to the beach underestimated the sun and I'm burnt to a crisp!!!!!

I didn't go out last night, but couldn't sleep, so I ended up deciding to make a website for our wedding site. Was up til 2:30 then finally fell asleep, then back up at 8am to get ready to come visit the future in-laws.

Oh well, I'll be sleeping on the drive home, haha.

My mother gave me some really good advice today. She said that I need to not get angry every time something happens- that I am the only one who can control that. Then she said that their actions do not really affect me- the two of them and his children and the ones who will have to deal with the consequences of their actions and that I should have sympathy... *deep breath* lol

Hey Everyone

I was at a Bridal Shower all day about 2 hours from my house with friends from college. Many of the guest left early, they had other plans aka drinking to be done. It was funny cause the bridesmaid went before the shower across the street for a few drinks the bride didnt even believe her sister planned it on st. pattys. o well. I ended up going to meet with Fi and friends, but with all the traffic and drunk ppl it took us longer to get to then wait in line to get into the bar they were at. Hopefully FI and I have a house next year to celebrate with friends, it will be fun and ALOT cheaper.

Mel -Oh I use lotion daily so I'm set lol its just insane how quick it was we were outside for 3 hrs there was nice breeze an sun was in an out, but I live in South Florida I should know better

So unbelievably true. I've applied that quote SO many times over the course of my wedding planning.<div>
</div><div>FI's cousin (the one who's getting married the same day as us) and his fiancee got their e-pics done and they have a few up on fb. Their photographer happens to be the company that our photographer previously worked for before she started her own business, lol. This particular photographer is also ridiculously expensive, they do great work- but unnecessarily expensive. I'm finding great satisfaction in that our wedding's gonna be a lot cheaper than theirs, and we won't have jerks at ours :-P</div>

Saltzman: Good for you! I'm glad things worked out with all the craziness! I've found myself thinking that a lot of FSIL's wedding. Her's is literally going to be double the cost, and it quietly pleases me that ours will be just as beautiful and certainly better mannered
