I am not an ultra picky bride and I know what its like to be in a bridesmaids dress that is unflattering and you hate, therefore I am allowing my girls to choose their own dresses. I have chosen the color navy blue and each will have some type of rhinestone brooch attached to their dress somewhere. We are going with Alfred Angelo dresses. My question is: will it look tacky if some of my girls choose different fabrics? For example, the only 2 fabrics I tend to like are satin or chiffon. Will it look bad if some choose a satin gown while some choose a chiffon? Also, my 13 year niece will be in the wedding. I do not like most of the Jr. bridesmaids dresses so I was thinking of having her in a short cute dress, either satin or chiffon from Alfred Angelo. Will it look ackward if she is in a short dress while the other girls are in longer? I have 5 bridesmaids total. They each have very different body types and I want what will make them feel most comfortable and feel pretty.
