looking for north shore ceremony venue only

HI all,

my fiance and I have decided to forego a big weddig reception and instead want to just have a small ceremony with a JP somewhere on the north shore.  We'd ultimately end up with less than 50 guests.  I haven't a clue how to find a place like that--are there venues (parks, barns, farms, etc?) that would rent out to me for like, a few hours on a friday morning/early afternoon?  If so, how would I go about finding one?  Anyone know of any off of the top of their head?  The date is 2/24, so it's coming up--any advice anyone has would be so appreciated!

    have you looked at Misselwood in Beverly?  I know they have a mansion that they rent out during their off season for small, intimate weddings.  you should check it out!

    Check out the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem.  I'm not sure if they will do a weekday ceremony, but its worth a shot!

    Is Newburyport too far for you? Check out the Phoenix Room - for that size, you could do your ceremony and even have a cocktail hour/heavy appetizers there. It's gorgeous, and reasonably priced. I'm not sure why more people don't know about it!
