Hi Ladies, I hope you all had a great weekend. I am working on my wedding website and listing lodging options. My venue is a YMCA camp that does confernences. The campus is dry- with the exception of wedding receptions. We alcohol is restricted to the cocktail and reception areas.
The venue also offers lodging for my guests BUT because it's a dry campus, people are restricted from drinking in thier rooms before or after the wedding. I am a little concerned with people ignoring this policy or trying to find ways around it.
This is what my website says:
The Inn at Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks For those interested in staying at Silver Bay YMCA, we have reserved rooms at The Inn. Enjoy the convenience of lodging in the same beautiful facility as our reception!***
*** Please note that Silver Bay YMCA is a dry campus with a strict policy preventing alcohol possession and consumption outside of the reception area. If you intend on drinking before or after our wedding, please see the additional lodging options listed below:
I then list 3 additional lodging options. Is this an apropriate way to get the message across- any other suggestions, comments?
Thanks ladies!

I'm being picky but I feel the "If you intend on consuming alcohol" line seems off for some reason.

On that note- I would also like to make a statement on my 'Reception' page. This is what I'm thinking:
I am concerned that people will bring their drinks outdoors/ or just outside of the designated area- I want to make sure that I'm clear that alcohol stays where it should
Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks Alcohol Policy:
Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is a dry campus. Thankfully, we have acquired the necessary permits to serve beer and wine within the designated cocktail and reception areas. We appreciate your willingness to help us adhere to these policies by keeping all alcoholic beverages in the designated cocktail and reception areas.
