table numbers/centerpeices

in African American Weddings
ladies Ive decided that because it would be too much to transport, the table number will the the centerpeice. I am going to print them on creme paper and have a dark purple background paper so its a layed look (do you get what im saying?) and have them held up by a cute little metal holder.  what can I do to jazz up around the centerpeice? No real candles are allowed so thats out of the question...which totally sucks

    m1ssj had hers flat on the table and it looked REAL nice, her whole wedding was absolutely ELEGANT! Hopefully she'll chiime in and shoot a picture of her table set up.

    If you're looking for table "centerpiece" or jazzing up alternatives what about loose pearls or diamonds/gems?

    Do you have a theme? I saw some nice books and bowls of fruit as alternate centerpieces

    the theme is peacock, but i havent incorporated not one peacock feather anywhere. smh

    You can buy the pieces bubble wrap them and when you get there buy vases at dollar tree. Otherwise I would suggest feather centerpieces or speading the loose pearls or a layer of rose petals
