Possible Wedding Band -Ever Heard of Them???

I have been working with Sam Hill Entertainment to find a reception band. At the top of our list right now is Heartbeat of Soul out of Greensboro, NC. I was wondering if anyone had ever heard the band live, heard comments about this band, etc. I'd love to hear fellow-bride feedback!

Also, if you know of an awesome reception band in the Triangle area that you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to hear about them too!

Thanks to all!

We were considering Heartbeat of Soul as well. We went to hear them one night in Greensboro and I thought they were good. My fiance has a strong music background and wasn't a fan of them because they played to tracks. So if you are a normal listener of music and that detail doesn't bother you, I think they're a good choice. We ended up picking The Fabulous Kays. If you live in the Raleigh area and are familiar with the North Hills area, they are the band that just played there last Thursday.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope this helps! :)

We are using Jupitar Jones from Greenville, NC.  They are traveling to our wedding in Mooresville, NC. They are really good!!
Never heard of your band though, sorry not much help.

My friend got married last August and she had Rubberband play (http://www.chuckfolds.com/rubberband.html). One of the members Chuck Folds is brothers with Ben Folds from Ben Folds Five. They were really good! They did an amazing job at playing all different genres and kept everyone happy from the 20 somethings to the groom's 90 year old grandmother!  If we were going to have a band they would have been my 1st choice.

Rubberband is good. We considered them also. That's the band that my fiance wanted to pick. But we didn't make our decision fast enough and our date got booked.

Best band around is Craig Woolard Band. Others I highly recommend are Liquid Pleasure, Sleeping Booty, Bull City Syndicate and Fabulous Kays.

What does playing with tracks mean? We are considering them as well and I am not a music person...was hoping you could explain. :)

When I say that they played to tracks, I mean that they had a background track going while they were playing. So for instance they could be playing a song and you're hearing a bass guitar but there's no bass guitar player. They are a full band, although you should ask what pieces they have b/c I don't remember exactly and I think it had recently changed. Like I said, i thought they were good and I liked them but my fiance is a singer/songwriter and has a music degree, so the way he hears music is way more detailed than me!
