TGIF!

What a week.  I'm just flat out exhuasted.  Not stressed, just physically drained of all energy.  I would love to recoup this weekend, but we have lots of wedding stuff to do (LOL shooting our own 'love story' video).

How is everyone else?  What's cookin'?!

Also...recommendations for what we should serve at our bar?  We'll have 2 reds, 1 white, 2 types of beer, champagne, and now I'm stuck on mixed drinks.

Gin, vodka, rum (and mixers - cran/orange/pineapple juices, tonic, soda).

Would you find something suffucient to drink there?

I'm right with ya there about it being an exhausting week.

I'm not a big drinker-- I really only like margaritas and I'm very picky with them, so chances are I wouldn't find something to drink from that list, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one :). I can't imagine people wouldn't be happy with those choices, that seems pretty all-encompassing to me!

Yes! What an exhausting week.  But glad I'm on this side of it than last week.  I'm taking the cat to get his shots, meeting with a new client today, then taking the afternoon off for some down time.  Maybe going to the gym.  I haven't been in a week! We're going to pick up our wedding bands tomorrow.

Tanq - you must be getting so EXCITED!!! how many more days till you leave?? I could definitely find something to drink out of your list but I know for FI (and all the manly men that come around), if they are going to drink something other than beer they prefer the dark liquor like Rye or Scotch........ unless of course you were planning for your rum to be dark rum??

This weekend is my stagette!!! I have no clue where I'm going - all I know is 4 of my girlfriends are picking me up at 8am Saturday morning and returning me sometime Monday??? The list of stuff to pack isn't really tipping me off either LOL. I'm pretty excited but the sucky part is I just came down with the nastiest cold in the last 2 days - hoping i can just push through it or ignore it and have a good time (without getting everyone else sick LOL).

Amen! I am so glad it's Friday. We forgot it was my boss' birthday yesterday :-/ So we were embarassed & made up for it today...cupcakes, decorations, presents...UGH. Glad we did it, but an unexpected expense. Oh well, made someone's day :)

Anyone coming to our wedding would be so happy with your bar selection. We're going to one in the next month that's beer only, the rest is cash bar. So, I say people should be fine picking something out from that selection :)

Going to a friends bridal shower Sunday :) Not much else wedding related, we got bought bands & picked out the guys clothes last weekend. Need a mental break I think.

Amen to that. I have another social services case going on right now, and it's just breaking my heart.

I think you have a great selection!  The only thing I might suggest is to pick up a bottle of Blue Curacao, and some lemonade or 7-Up.  You can make a ton of fun, super awesome, tropical drinks with Blue Curacao.  Definitely not necessary, but I am thinking about picking some up for our wedding cause it's yummy!

And yes, TGIF indeed.  I really, really wish that spring break weren't just for schools cause I am badly in need of one.  Just over work, exhausted, and blah.  Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!!

I agree w/ cryssv, rye or scotch would be a good addition for the rye & coke or straight scotch crowd. Ultimately, your list is very ample. Most weddings I've been to only have beer and wine available. We're doing beer, wine and 2 or 3 signature cocktails. In fact, we just had a big barbie today for my FI's birthday and we had a fridge full of wine, beer and I had premaid 3 jugs of cocktails (margaritas, mango daiquiri, and watermelon/mint rum cocktails) and it was very easy. No mixing time required w/ pre-made cocktails.
With the weekend now half over I'm half celebrating the success of today's birthday BBQ and half looking forward to having next weekend so I can get out dress shopping again. I'm not big on the rest of the planning. I'm just looking forward to buying a fun dress and having a 3 day party w/ my friends/fam. Our good friends are having their DW at Whistler the week before, so all the snow/surf planning is making me very excited for next year to hurry up and come.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
