Need reccommendations for waxing.. allll the way waxing!!

Hey Ladies.. Don't want to have to worry about shaving or anything while on the honeymoon, so was thinking of getting a brazillian wax. Never had it professionally done before, so looking for a good place to go to! Hopefully closer to the Gaihersburg/Montgomery county area.

Any reccommendations??

    My friend swears by Sharon at the Red Door Salon in Gaithersburg in the Kentlands.  I'm going to be trying out too but haven't yet because I'm scared!

    It's really not that bad.  I've been to places in the NoVA areas, but not anywhere where you're looking for recs.  My suggestions for the day-of: trim yourself a little (it hurts less if it's shorter) and pop about 3 ibuprofen an hour/half hour before. 

    Shaving sucks in comparison!  Trust me!

    Ok ladies - here's the deal, I have been to a number of different places - you have to go to Shannon at Magnolia salon and spa in Rockville, she personally is the best.  I have had some pretty painful experiences at different locations, and she knows exactly what she is doing.  Also buy a tube of balmex (yes the diaper rash cream) and apply that right after you get waxed,  I usually leave it on over night (your not supposed to be intimate for 24 hours after anyway) and wash it off in the morning - this will prevent you from getting any bumps afterwards.  Good luck - and trust me, not having to shave or deal wth irritating re-growth is totally worth it!!

    I've been to the Jouvence Aveda in Pentagon City to a couple of their different girls and I've been to Salon Nordine in Reston.

    Aida Spa in Old Town....She uses her own waxes and has been rated #1 in Allure magazine on several occasions...I've gone twice and honestly was surprised at how it wasn't as painful as I thought it'd be.  Also, it's only around $55!!!  She's amazing!
