When the story was first reported, H sent me the link, encouraging me to be more like the lady. She was so positive about her situation and thankful she'd bought the glasses, etc. He was impressed with her positive attitude and said he wished I'd respond to more situations with that tone in mind. He tires of my glass-half-empty perspective.
I updated him on the story this morning. This was his reply:
