[QUOTE]Didn't step on the scale, nor do I want to. I think I've gained a few pounds in the last month or two... BUT, I did do my inital test for the 100 push-up challenge. I was only able to do 10, which I was totally disappointed about, but I know that I'll be able to do it. I will do day 1 of week one tomorrow. I plan on doing it Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I'm kicking it back in gear and already have it planned to go to the gym tomorrow and Thursday. I even wrote it in my calendar so that means I have to go. LOL.

I think that is great! I did 6 and was super proud of myself!! haha!!

I also did not weigh myself today. Today is my first offical day of working out, so I better make sure to weigh myself tonight so I know my starting point!

  • You ladies are doing great. (-: I started working out again this week and gained a couple poinds but today I'm back to my starting weight - I'm not much of one for easing myself into a new routine so my body typically retains water to repair itself from the unexpected exertion. I plan to start the pushup test today, and do day three of the Couch to 5k program.

Does anyone else get discouraged with dieting/nutrition? I always feel like whatever changes I make, it won't make a difference. :-/ I'll avoid soda and try to make healthy choices, butI guess I feel like if I'm not strictly following a system someone else made, aka a diet, it won't make a difference. And I don't have the time, money, or willpower right now to do that; I just want to eat normal healthy food, not go crazy. Anyone else? Any thoughts?

I got very frustrated and discouraged until I understood foods better. And even still, I am in no way perfect with it.

I go to Curves and they hold a weekly weight management class. That has really helped me to understand the importance of getting enough protein, fat and calories, why breakfast is so important, making meal plans, etc. Plus it has been really nice having a group of women, who all have a similar goal, supporting each other week after week.

Thank you and you are too!

I also want to add that my final goal weight listed is actually my long-term goal. My wedding goal is to get down around 160..so about another 10 or more. It has taken nine months of gradual life style changes to reach the 30 mark. I do not plan on doing anything crazy in the next six months!

Another 40 to go! Weight Watchers has helped me stay in check. I love the support I get, even if I just lose 1lb! Good luck on your goals everyone!
