I booked it! July 24, 2011, I'm so excited, it is a total weight off my shoulders! Now for the rest of the planning...ahhh.

PS. What should a videographer get paid? My sister said that hers was 1,000 and it was a really good price. What is a good price...Im so new to this whole thing

    Congrats booking the venue is a HUGE check!!!

    We paid $1500 for a full blown package with editing, our own pictures, chaptering all that jazz.  He was out of New Paltz and his name was Bob Geller

    Halo Video is very popular on this board and I know has good prices.

    I used Halo Video...they are out of Queens but do not charge a travel fee.  Our videographer was great and went above and beyond (like, my hubby was supposed to have beer in his champagne flute, the video guy was the one who went and got it fixed LOL).....we did the middle package which was 995 but I think the one that was lower was 895 or something like that (prices are on their site)

    Congrats on booking your venue! Now it truly all does settle in to place! ($1000 is a great price for video. $1500 is also good. Ours was was $2000 and I am anxiously waiting to see it!)
