Bridesmaids discounts?

Does anyone know of stores that offer discounts if bridesmaids pay in full or if the my wedding dress was also purchased at the store?

My dress was purchased at the Wedding Shoppe and before I go there for BM dresses, I wanted to see if they can offer anything. I found a dress that I love but for around $140, so I would love to get even a 10% discount. Any other store suggestions would be helpful too! :)

TIA!

I think the Wedding Shoppe does offer some kind of discount, but I could be totally wrong.  I'm sure someone here will know!  = )

The shop I went to is in Little Falls.  They offered the girls a discount for paying in full when they ordered.  Also, we were quoted one price & when we came back a few months later, the dresses had gone up.  The owner honored the previous price & also the percentage off that our consultant quoted us, even though it was much more then it should have been.

Wedding Chapel Bridals in Crystal offers a discount if paid in full.  I don't remember how much though.

Wedding Shoppe does not.. I just ordered my BM dress for Colstj's wedding (she purchased her dress from there as well).. but they did have the cheapest price for the dress in MN.

David's Bridal gives BM's $20 off if the bride purchases her dress from there.. that is why I chose my BM dresses from there :)

Like FutureMrsSheeler said, the Wedding Shoppe does not do any deal for bridesmaids dresses.  They do happen to have one of the lowest prices around. I compared about 5 different places for the same dress and the Wedding Shoppe always had the lowest.  The only deal they have are for the bride if you get your tuxes through them, then the bride would get 10% off of her dress.

So, you can get a discount on your dress if your guys go there for tuxes, but they don't give your girls or guys individual discounts.

@colstj1: After Sabrina mentioned that, I looked at your planning bio and saw that you didn't have the best experience with them though. I have looked there briefly with 3 of the girls (we didn't have an appt but were allowed to browse) but I just don't know if I want to bring my girls there and go through all that. Maybe I can see if I can get a price quote on the exact dress I'm looking for and then if it is truly cheaper there, then I can decide to go there.

I'm very appreciative of the other suggestions, and will be adding them to the "Call and get quotes" stores!

FYI for others, Angeliques offers a 10% discount but they didnt have the style I was looking for.

    Thanks again!

Yes, when I brought my girls in they were a little rude and their service with my dress was not something I would want to work with again.  One option you could always do it go to another bridal store, get measured and sized for the dresses you like and order off of the Wedding Shoppe's website. That is what FutureMrsSheeler did so that she won't have to go in and she will get it shipped right to our apartment (since we are roommates).

Now I am the type of person who gives the benefit of the doubt to people, but when you are looking at prices of dresses if it's like a 10 dollar difference somewhere else you may want to choose that place. If saving money is really important, then you will still get what you want at the Wedding Shoppe, just not as good customer service. If you have any other questions let me know :)

I ended up ordering my BM dresses from NetBride.com
I went shopping with my girls and decided on a dress then got a quote from NetBride.   They came in at $114 whereas the cheapest that we found them in any store was $150.  They have a number of the popular designers available.  We didn't have any issues with the ordering process or delivery process.  I beileve that they arrived in about 8-10 weeks.

Hmmm.. when we ordered BM dresses for my brother and SIL's wedding, the Wedding Shoppe gave us 15% off if all 5 girls ordered from them. I'll have to ask my SIL how she got that deal. However, I went there for a bridal appointment a few weeks ago, and was really not that impressed. The girl who helped us was nice and all, but they automatically put me at the shop across the street, which was clearly the plus size side, which is awesome that they have that large of a selection, but I'm really inbetween being regular size and plus size, and I fit into most sample sizes that have corsets, so a lot of the dresses I wanted to try on were across the street. Plus I HATE HATE HATE shops that don't let you take pictures. It's just plain stupid. How am I supposed to remember which dresses I liked best if I don't have a picture to look at later? I don't remember any of the dresses I tried on that day, other than the last one, which I had already tried on and had pictures of.

Sorry, didn't mean to get so long winded there, heh. I'll second the Wedding Chapel in Crystal - we got a discount if we paid in full for the dresses and I think it was 10-15%. I'm going there with my BM's in October, and I plan to help pay in full if they don't have the cash up front to be able to do so, so that we can get the discount. :)
