[QUOTE]Hi all, I have a bit of a strange hair-style related question, and I was hoping you'd have some ideas on how to gracefully address the situation I'm in. I've already gone for my trial hair appointment.  I love my stylist, I REALLY love the style we came up with, I love the results, etc.  However, there is a major problem: the hairspray. My hair is really long, and the style has a lot of texture, which means a lot of hairspray is applied.  During the trial session, I ended up developing a cough that didn't go away for 2 days because of breathing loads and loads of spray for well over an hour.  And I can't imagine that the stylist's lungs felt awesome afterwards either. Would it be way out of line to bring a painting mask with me the day of, as long as I bring one to offer for the stylist too?   Would it be super weird?  I would normally just suck it up and deal with it, but how unromantic is it to hack and cough your way through your wedding vows, bleh.

</div><div>I dont think so.. Just be honest and tell her that last time, it affected your health, and you cant jeopardize something like that on your wedding day. Im sure he/she will understand... worst case scenario, you can tell a little white lie and say you've recebtky developed asthma lol</div>
  • As a stylist, I would rather have you bring a mask than be hacking through your vows.  Just be honest with her and she should understand.

  • Is it possible to use less hairspray?  Or even go outside to get sprayed?
