Is anyone using any Texas Country music in their wedding? My FI loves (which is probably an understatement!) Texas Country and he really wants it to be incorporated into the wedding. The only two songs I can come up with are:
Aaron Watson-Next to Heaven
Bart Crow-Forever
Any other ideas?
Re: Music-Texas Country ideas?
Do you mean into the ceremony itself? Do you know how you're planning to use it? As is, special music during the ceremony, like for lighting the unity candle or something like that, or as the prelude, or for the processional? I think how you're using it makes a difference on what songs you could use...
I don't know what part of the wedding you want it for so I'll just suggest kind of all over the board.
Maybe Eli Young Band , We Could be Forever
Randy Rogers Band - Interstate
Johnny Cooper - Everything (maybe, it'd have to fit you..)
Wade Bowen - Who I Am
I could probably think of a lot more. Let me think about it.
Yea we want it for the ceremony, as well as first dance-which I think we will use Aaron Watson-Next to Heaven, since that was the first TExas Country Song he sang to me!
Great Ideas! I forgot about Feet Dont Touch the Ground. Who I Am would be another great one, LOVE that song!
"The things I've done, the places I've been, just don't compare to the love I'm in, it beats all I've ever seen."
And you can't go wrong with some Stoney or Wade....
