Lake Eola

Has anyone been to a wedding or held their wedding ceremony at Lake Eola Park? I'm not from the area but my fiancee and I are going to be looking at different Central Fl venues in a few weeks and were considering (from pictures) the park, just to save some money...Any thoughts? Would the Harry P. Leu Garden's be a better setting?

    Leu Gardens would be way  better. Lake Eola is public and you can't control who will be standing around watching your outdoor wedding or interfering with it or standing in the background of your pictures.

    How about engagement pics at Lake Eola?! Does that sound like a good idea?
    (I am not from Orlando but I will be taking my pics here and getting married here. I just don't have the time to drive to Orlando and scope out potential engagement photo shoot scenary)
