Sorry to bombard you with heavy questions my first day out.

 

I am not much of a girly-girl and I am planning and pretty much paying for the wedding myself. I am new to TheKnot so am still trying to figure out where to go for information. I am having a small budget wedding, but still have descent size dreams.

 

I have the venue, the photographer, and the DJ/Master of Ceremonies booked. I ordered the flowers (wooden roses – DIY). I have the centerpieces and the favors. I am in the process of booking a Justice of the Peace. I have to be fitted for my dress in the next couple of days. I am meeting soon with a possible caterer. I have a cake and baker in mind. I have the basic idea for my invitations (DIY) and have no idea about the rings.

 

The big things seem almost done, but the little things are driving me crazy and seem to add up fast, but it is nice to know I am not alone. Best wishes to all you ladies out there planning your weddings.

    A good reference is the Knot checklist. It will give you a list of all the things that you may need to do to prepare for the wedding, and also give you a timeline of when things should be completed by. If you're on the boards here, at the top of the page you'll see a link to "my checklist" - click that and it should show you a checklist based on your wedding date. HTH, and Welcome!
