Ok ladies, I've been applying for jobs pretty much non-stop for the last 4 months, and I've gotten 1 call back, 1 interview (one application) and one follow up email (different application) and that's it... out of about 50 job apps!
At this point I am willing to work just about anywhere, I really need something full-time to help save up money for when I move out and help pay for miscellaneous things for the wedding.
I got my BA in History and just finished my Master of Library Science, but I've worked customer service and retail for the past 10 years and have no problem going back to that if it means full time work. I love the job I have now but 20 hours a week just isn't cutting it now that I'm finished with school.
Does anyone know of any job openings? Suggestions? Ideas? TIA!

<div>How am I not seeing these jobs when I search?? I've seen about a dozen other openings but I never saw either of those!</div><div>

[QUOTE]My job currently has an opening for a CSR. I know it's 40 hours a week, I believe starting pay is $11 an hour. It is a title loan company and in Weatherford. If you want I can give you my email and you can email your resume to me to give to my boss :)

<div>I'd have to relocate for that, and to pay to live on my own (FI is OOT) I'd need to make at least $15/hr. But thank you!!</div>
I know Fidelity Investments has many positions open right now but not sure exactly what positions are available right this moment. Bank of American (ugh, I know, I know) is also continuously hiring and TBH, they have an amazing benefits package. Baylor Healthcare System seems to always have several job openings for administrative office positions (pay fairly well) as well as Access Services positions (admitting type stuff).
I know Nissan is hiring right now (in Irving/Las Colinas, right?).
Can't think of any others ATM but if I see anything I will definitely let you know! You may not find your ideal job for awhile but any experience is great! Networking, even if it is volunteering through a nonprofit, is one of the best ways to improve your chances it seems like. It is so important -- even if you don't find another job for awhile, see if you can get into an organization and do some volunteer work (United Way, North Texas Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, etc etc etc)
HTH!

I told you, I mod the interwebz. :)
I live in Grapevine, and DH checks their job postings a lot. And the Irving one I found on a Google search whim, but it looks pretty new.

<div>And if I ever doubted you, I now know the truth ;)</div><div>
</div><div>Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I'm scouring every source all of you mentioned in hopes that something turns up!</div>
If anyone is looking for a job in client support in the Dallas/Addison area send me a message and I'll email you the job description for the open position my company, Ristken Software Services. My best friend Merichelle worked here before I did and we both would highly recommend the company and our positions.
Is this of any interest?? Just putting it out there
If you go that route, I strongly recommend Billy Kent at Resource Personnel Company. I trust him over all others.
