What is the average cost for DOC?

I've met with three so far and the ranges vary DRASTICALLY.

    The prices do vary a lot. I only got a few quotes - and most were way out of my budget. According to someone who contacted a lot more, the general range is $850-$1200 (Link).

    Here's a thread from way back that mentions what some DOCs charge (or did when these girls booked them, anyway) -- link.

    I don't know what my planner charges for just DOC, so I'm no help. I'm using Events by Dayna for planning and DOC, so the cost is all rolled up together. I'm pretty sure she's in the more affordable end of the spectrum, though (otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford her).

    I found an AMAZING DOC, I would of hired her on the spot, but she is nearly twice my budget. I didn't know she was that expensive until I met with her. Now I'm torn.

    I read something somewhere (or maybe heard it) that a DOC should cost about 10% of your wedding budget.  $10,000 wedding=$1,000 DOC.

    myweddingdaybliss.com Beth is my coordinator and she is AMAZING! They have packages from DOC to full wedding planner. I highly recommend them!

    I found an amazing DOC, but she is roughly 14% of my budget.
    I haven't signed yet, but wanted to see if there were anymore affordable ones avaliable.
    I've saved alot here and there, but I'm just having a hard time seeing that money go.
