Grand Entrance Before or After dinner?

I have a cute dance mix picked out for the bridal party to be introduced to and then my FI and I to be introduced to. There won't really be a dance floor until after dinner because, after dinner, they'll move the head table to make the dance floor. So do we all get introduced at the beginning of dinner, go to our seats, then after dinner go back out the door and get introduced all over again to the music so we can run onto the dance floor? I'm really confused here so I hope the way I wrote this makes sense...

Basically what I'm asking is....do we do two different introductions or skip the Grand March?

    I really think you should be introduced before dinner as soon as you enter the reception.....this is your first formal introduction as husband and wife.  Is there any way to do the dance then?  It would seem weird to be introduced again.

    I agree that it would be odd to have sat through all of dinner, then leave and be "introduced." Is there any way they can introduce you and you can just walk to your place at the table? I don't have a picture of the room, but I don't see why this couldn't be an option and why you'd need a dance floor to be introduced.

    I don't see a problem with being introduced before dinner, then having your first dance announced later.

    The reason we wanted to do it after dinner is because we have it set up so the bridal party dances onto the dance floor one couple at a time and then they all hold up their hands to make a tunnel. Then FI and I come in to a new song and go under the tunnel, then we finish the song by dancing as a group. When people do this is it before supper? Because it would be weird to dance like that and then sit down and eat, I think.

    I would nix that idea. Don't make your wedding party dance together like that.

    I don't mean dance together as couples, if that's what you mean. Here's a video of what I'm talking about if anyone has time to watch it. Start it at 53 seconds then after a bit you can fast forward to 2:53 to see the bride and groom come out and walk under the hands.

    I googled this question hoping to get answers to my exact questions because i don't think I'm explaining it correctly here. Embarassed  So now I have a better understanding of how this works. My only question now is, would it be weird to come in to the music like in the above video and just go right to our seats for dinner?

    Now that I have seen the video, I have a suggestion: Have the WP come in as they did on the video, but...instead of having them trek all the way across the room, have them come into the room just a bit, and form their 2 lines near, very near the doorway. First couple in, walks out a bit, turns around and stands by the door, next couple, out a bit, comes back and stands by first couple. So when they have all come out, the arch is right by the door, and your entrance through the arch will be so much more dramatic!

    And as for going to eat right away, your guest will probably be ready to eat, even before you get there. To your guest, your arrival signals not only the beginning of the party, but that the food will be served soon. Remember your guest have been waiting for you, while you were taking pictures, gathering your stuff, using the restroom, traveling, checking your makeup. They are ready to eat. They will be expecting to eat.

    Have your DJ introduce you,come through the arch, dance/walk to your seating area, have your toast, then eat. The flow is a natural progression of events planned. It will look beautiful!

    I'm not sure what the "grand march" is, but one introduction is more than enough.
