Did you reach your goal weight?

for the ladies who are already married or getting close to their wedding day:

did you reach your goal weight as you wanted or got close to it? I'm curious and just need some inspiration/ motivation stories on a rainy Wednesday before my work out... :)

Re: Did you reach your goal weight?

  • I worked harder in the months leading up to our wedding than I've ever worked and I got the body I wanted.  I had a weight goal in mind and came within 4lbs of it but more importantly, I just felt good and beautiful.  Keep up your good work!

  • My goal is 50 lbs by Valentine's day 2012 (Starting in June).  I don't know that I'm going to hit that goal thanks to a frustrating 5 week long plateau from August to September, but by golly I'm going to get as close as I can.

As my niece tells me:   "just keep swimming!"

  • i totally agree SWIMMING. it is a good way to lose weight with high energy. However besides swimming, you should be careful of your food. More vegetables and fruits and water. less meat.  I have tried to eat cucumber with egg for 1 week only for lunch...finally i lose weight but have no energy to do my things....

So my suggestion: Wear the shapewear and eat less. Goal is just a goal..healthy and energy is most important. To be bright on your big day will be best!

Try some shapewear to burn fat if you can.

  • I find it odd that people are always recommending swimming but few people everywhere have that as an option..

I was thinking this exact same thing.  I wouldn't mind trying swimming, but there are no pools for me to swim at.  There could be a private place around, but I already pay enough membership fees!

Exactly!  There are literally 2 indoor pools in my town and both those fitness centers cost $60 a month.  A tad more than I would pay just to use a pool.  I DO know that swimming is great exercise, but there are other things that work as well.

Obviously, since I haven't used a pool since I started losing weight.
  • There is another good way i tried before, which is easy for yourself: Yoga. You can do it in your home following the disk. save money. but if you can make the room warm, which will be best, i tried a one which called high temperature yoga, which is very useful!  Save money and easy to do it at home.
