This was laid on my heart today....

Ladies, I was driving home and it was dropped in my heart to share with all on this board to pray.  I am not saying anyone does not pray, I'm saying the nonsense some of us are experiencing has to stop.  The recent posts about weddings being called off brought to my mind how the enemy does not like marriage as it is ordained by God.  Also, if I remember correctly, it has been the men who have called off weddings most recently.  So, I am asking if all willing AAW Knotties will pray that our current and upcoming marriages are covered in the blood of Jesus; that are future and current husbands yield and take heed to the word of the Lord and lean not unto there own understading; our families are blessed and anything that is not of God is bound; and that we, as women, continue to be strenghthened by the love of Jesus.

Be blessed ladies and always remain encouraged!

    I have NO problem keeping us all in prayer.

    It truly saddens my heart to hear about these weddings being called off, especially when they are so close to happening.

    I must say it also scares the hell outta me too...but I REBUKE the negative thoughts!

    wow..I do not really have any WR or marriage related issues at this moment, but I have in the past and prayer works.  I am going through other family issues so keep me in your prayers and I will pray for all of you.

    I agree that your post was necessary and well received.  I have let some fear and negative thoughts enter my head as a result of reading some postings. I am dismissing it all.  I just shared your post with my FI and we Thank you.

    Yes AND Amen.  We should not only be praying for the success of our marriages we need to be COVERING each other in prayer in general.  Maybe I'm just a very welcoming, sometimes OVERLY-friendly person but I view this group as a SISTERHOOD. We have a dynamic here unlike ANY other board on the knot, I don't care what ANYONE says. I love each and EVERY one of my AW sisters and would go to bat for any of you on any given day. We need to be COVERING each OTHER in prayer.  Some of us are going through financial difficulites, health issues (MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY), spiritual issues, etc  God did not intend for us to live our lives like that. We are to live lives of abundance and JOY.  Sisters, I just want to encourage you to start SPEAKING positivity into your lives (and marriages) and rebuking the negative things that come to light: whether it's drama filled wedding guests, your job, school whatever.  God intends for you to have success in ANYTHING you do that is lined up with his WILL.  So just seek God in all things (including your marriage) and watch God show up and work miracles.  Thanks OP for posting this.

    I am so sorry that I missed this post on the day that it was originally posted, but I know that prayer is never too late. Thank you for this...I am in tears right now, not because I'm having moments of trial in my relationship, but because I have in the past and it was prayer and the understanding of what God intends for us that brought us to where we are now...HAPPIER THAN WE HAVE EVER BEEN. It works ladies, I can testify. I also agree that we should be speaking positivity in all aspects of our lives. If you focus on even the smallest positive parts of your day, you lose complaining time. Try it. Love you all.

    Rhoyal you stated that very well. I will keep each of you with upcoming weddings in my prayers. It's just surprising me that the men are the ones calling off the weddings; however, they are the ones that asked us for our hand in marriage.
