Critique my outfit (beware this is long with tons of PIP)

I wouldn't post this on another board for fear of harsh criticism, but I really like you girls here. Plus, most of you know I've been having issues with my mom's overbearing opinions so... here I am. Most of this is what I'm envisioning and I just want to make sure it would look okay.

Here it goes:

Dress. This is what it looks like now. I'm going to have it shortened and taken in a little and take that sash/bow off and add another (pic below) I've been contemplating making the neckline a little more sweetheart...?

Whew! I think that's everything! I would appreciate if you girls could bounce some feedback to me since I don't have any girls around to help now. Usually FI is a pretty good advisor, but he doesn't know anything about my dress and can't help with this stuff. =/

I like the 2nd pair of earrings with the bracelet. While I like the sash on your dress in the picture the Etsy one is just as pretty.

Love that your keeping your hair simple and the flow will compliment the style very well.

Makeup is very pretty, but I'd maybe soften up the bottom a bit.

I think you're headed in the right direction. Try not to sweat your mom. I've come to the conclusion that parents are the hardest to please. If something is the way you want it, or you feel strongly about it, then stick to your guns.

Beautiful dress and that sash would be lovely

I LOVE the hairstyle - so simple and elegant. I would lighten the makeup a bit but other than that I think you'd got a great outfit put together.

I LOVE that bracelet. it will go beautifully with either set of earrings, though i think i prefer the first set.

the hair flower will be a nice touch, i think you might be able to wear it with the veil too, since it doesn't look to big. but i guess you can play with it when the time comes (are you having a trial hair session?)

I love the antiqued jewellery and everything actually. About the make up, I like that too. One thing I recommend (I saw this on youtube from someone who demo-ed bridal make up) is that you do a trial make up and take pictures up close and from further away. She said the eyes should be much darker than normally so they show up better on the pictures from a distance. I like the smokey eyes but I am afraid of the darkness of it. I think brown eyed people are so lucky that make up looks great with dark eyes. I am not sure with my green eyes. I did a trial and I am glad I did, I didn't like the look on me. Make sure you test it both ways lighter and dark like the picture to see which one you like on yourself.

This is the first green eye with smokey make up I have seen on picture and it looks good. I might just give it another try with someone else. Thanks for posting it.

I love the dress! You look awesome in it! I actually like the sash on the dress in photo one, rather than the etsy one. But it's your call. Everything else, I agree with PPs.
