My husband and I had both been divorced for about 2-3+ years. When he asked me to marry him, I knew we had to do something really different for our wedding. I have no idea how I ran across Chapel in the Clouds but the name had me wanting to know more. Once I saw couples could tie the knot on the Big Shot Ride, I figured if we were crazy enough to get married again, we had to do it like this:

Our wedding date was 8-8-08 and obtaining a marriage license during that week took about 1 hour. The folks there were still courteous and helpful even though there were tons of people. From a financial standpoint, if you plan it right, Vegas is awesome since there are always deals on flights/hotels. We used The Duece as our transportation and caught a ton of food/drink specials. I was blessed to have a number of family/friends to attend our ceremony but they do have live video streaming available for those who can't make it.
