Hey ladies,

I haven't had time to lurk a lot & I will soon but I just wanted to introduce myself.

I am 26 and my FI is 29. We were engaged Valentine's Day of 2011. I have a very non-traditional engagement ring. But I will be getting my grandmother's engagement ring reset and will use both rings. That August we found out we were expecting. (So I've been on the Bump). We had a beautiful little girl April 23rd. So wedding plans were put on hold. Now that she is here and things are going back to normal I can concentrate on wedding plans.

We are getting married in our church and having the reception at my parents house. We plan on having a low budget laid back country wedding with a lot of DIY. I just got my wedding dress and am so in love with it.

Congratulations to all of you & Good luck with the planning. Hopefully I'll become a part of this community & get to know you gals.

    Welcome and congrats on your new baby and your engagement! I also have a nontradtional ring which was my FI's grandmothers. It's going to stay intact as is though. We talked about taking it apart and using part of it for wedding rings, but FI has memories of his grandmother wearing and we decided to keep it the way it is.
