So going off a thread from earlier this week, I thought this could be a funny one...

I never thought my FI would care about our cake topper! But he was looking through some of my wedding magazines (haha) and there was a section of funny cake toppers and now he has to have one! One of my good friends told me that her, now husband, really cared about the napkins at the reception...

Anyone else have some good ones?

My FI was pretty reserved when caring about the little details...until we got to the flowers...holy crap. My flowers are now what he wanted to a T. I think they will look fine, but I had always invisioned something totally different.

My FI does not want a head table. It's like the only thing he's voiced an opinion on so far. So we will be doing a WP table but with all the WP guests as well.

Other than that so far he is not interested in anything, heh. I told him he's in charge of picking the food and the GM attire, so hopefully he will at least be intersted in those things.

Mine wanted to do the garter toss. I was against it and I didn't think that he'd mind at all, but he actually put his foot down on that one. He also really wanted to do the cake smash, which I fought up until the moment he smeared frosting on my face.

My husband wanted a REAL bowtie - not the kind that hooks in the back but a real honest to goodness tie it in a bow, bowtie. And of course we couldn't find one that matched his tux so I had to make one. The folks at Savii were great about me walking in 3 times one night asking to see the vest DH picked out so I could match the fabric samples up to it. The things we do for the ones we love....

Actually my fi has had opinions about a lot of things, he HAD to make the invitations, designed the cake, and wrote most of our ceremony. He doesn't seem to care about the party favors, table tops, flowers, or candy buffet though =P

I don't know why, but my FI really cares about what style and color the bridesmaids dresses are. He just can't imagine different shades of the same color or different styles. It's driving me nuts cuz I'd really like to take care of it already!

Mine cared about a lot of weird stuff too! He didn't like the bridesmaid dress colors, they were navy, he thought I would have picked a brighter blue. So then I went and got our invites and used a brighter blue, then he was upset because it was too bright and wouldn't match!! I didn't care about things being match-y! I would always go to him with a few things narrowed down and he wouldn't like any of them... so I would ask him to find something better and he never would... so I would have to search for him with him next to me to get to the bottom of what he had in mind... Boys!
