I think the office machines are trying to tell me something :\

So this morning started out fantistic. Got out of the house extra early, and the FI were able to stop at SBucks on our way to work and eat together. I had a bagel and a white chocolate mocha (something I have maybe 3 or 4 times a year, a huge indulengence for me) However, I don't believe the scanner I use approves. as this morning it has quit entirely on me, and I have to use the scanner upstairs. So far I have made 4 extra trips upstairs this morning. Which is good, those are extra steps and any moving is good. but I am so ashamed that even some machines are telling me loose some weight

Office equipment can be SO frustrating sometimes.  I hope your IT team gets it to work ASAP

This has been happening for about a week and a half. and I've had to call on it several times. it sucks. But I find the most frustrating thing is that people complain to me and blame me --like I have something to do with the network issues. Argh! It is so easy to take it out on the receptionist :\

abriekinthewall:  I'm a receptionist too, and get blamed ALL the time when some facility related thing doesn't work, or if one of our vendors is late/did something wrong.  And I have to explain daily the basics of the USPS system, and should be able to tell someone EXACTLY how much their (personal, not work related) package would be to mail JUST by looking at it.

    I could go on FOREVER....

I'm not a receptionist, but I'm considered part of the administrative staff, and I can totally relate to being blamed for everything that goes wrong in the office (and being expected to fix it.  Sorry that you are having one of those days abriek!
