AW: Momma!/Daily Checks

My Mom finally found her dress! She's been dreading getting a dress since we got engaged. My mom is beautiful but pretty self-concious about her weight. She's by no means fat but has a crazy-in-shape sister and has put on some weight since she quit smoking. She's been putting it off insisting that she's going to lose more weight but finally she had to get one.

It was great hearing how excited she was (I'm 5 hours away..I didn't get to go with her

) ! She feels amazing in it and just kept saying how flattering it is. It took a lot of convincing but I got her to pick something that wasn't black or a really neutral color..she kept talking about things like "cappachino". She ended up in navy which is fine because I know she'll be comfortable in it and she's happy because it's one of our colors.

Also, FI and I are trying to finish our registry today. I really hope we get it done because I am so sick of it lol.

Aww that's beautiful! I'm worried FMIL will pick something off like not appropriate for a wedding because she's dRagging her heels about her dress I'm at my marriage prep weekend

Yay for momma. Her dress is very beautiful. I was so happy when my mom picked her dress.

As for the weekend we are just chilling with the dogs. It was a stressful week for both of us at work so we want to keep things low key this weekend.

I was with my mom too. I love her dress. She is about my height and weight. I knew she wouldn't do long because she looks great and usually does tea length dreads anyways. Well we went to the bridal shop onion my town that went out of business and she got a light green strapless tea length Bill Levkoff dress for $10! She got a strapless black tea length Levkoff dress with a champagne sash for the RD for $10 as well

Love her dress! My mom is making hers after she finishes my dress. No idea what FMIL will do but I'm sure it will be fine. Today we looked at wedding bands again at a different jeweler and I found one I loved even more and at a better price! FI thinks he found one but they're ordering it first before we pay to see if it's actually what he wants. So excited!

That's a great dress! I'm sure she will look stunning in it.

Today, I made the pinwheels that will be incorporated into my BMs bouquets. I did 3 for each and will bring them to my florist consultations. If they think I should do a few more for each, that would be fine. I want to get their input though and decide on bouquets before I go ahead and make more.

FI made our cardbox today! We did the 4 frame, rotating cardbox. It looks so great! I'll have to post pictures later when I take them. I still want to get some wood letters that spell out "Cards" and glue them to the top, but otherwise it's ready to go

That dress is gorgeous!

FI and I registered at our final place today, Home Depot. We acquired a bunch of ribbon (some already on vases) in the same exact blue we need at the reception we were at today.

It actually looks better in person. i love how low profile it is, it doesnt stick out too much so it doesnt conflict with the tiffany setting on my solitaire. I love it!
