My grandfather's 90th birthday is coming up in September, and my mother and her sisters want to throw a nice party for him. The problem is that one of my aunts is stuck on Benvenuto's, where we are having our wedding next year. My mom doesn't really want to have the event there since we are doing my wedding there, I guess to keep it special. My aunt insists there are no other nice places in Boynton Beach, but I know that's not true.  Do you all have any rec's for some nice restaurants there? There won't be more than 20-25 people max. 

I don't really want them going before "our day" but I don't feel like I can dictate where people hold their events. I was just hoping to present some alternate ideas and see what mom + aunts decide.

    Holiday Inn highland beach is nearby, has incredible gest service and can probably take care of them.

    wish I could be of more help but I am not familiar with the area.  Maybe you could suggest catering in from another restaurant.  I would definitely express that your wedding is there and you want it to be special.  If not, it could be a great trial run for you to see their service and try different food from what you plan to have on your wedding day.  good luck and keep us posted

    If you don't mind traveling a bit futher...how about the Sundy House or Galuppi's?

    Also, there is Prime Catch in Boynton Beach...right infront of the water and they have party rooms.

    I did see Prime Catch when I did some searches but wasn't sure how good it was! Thanks for the rec. I had also looked into Galuppi's for our rehearsal dinner, so I'll check that out as well.

    I don't really want them to have the party there but didn't want to seem unreasonable. I will offer these recommendation and see what shakes out :)

    I second Prime Catch- AMAZING food right on the water- a little pricey but worth every penny!
