I have decide if someone else would like to take over the task of updating the faq's then they may do so. I am not going to deal with people who are not working on it in anyway shape or form criticizing the choices of those who are. So if you are on the FB group and want to contact me, please feel free to do so. Otherwise good luck with your weddings ladies.

AWww, sorry to hear you're having a rough go with it, that's not cool, I would be happy to take over. I can't access FB at work, but if can and look on my page, feel free to email me on either of the addresses listed and I'm happy to help out.

Edit: That should be *if you can*, as in access FB from where you are then my contact info is on my page

I'm with you 100% on this. I contacted the old Knottie who used to update the FAQ's page for the old FAQ's page password---it has been lost along the years.

I commend you, Stinker, for even thinking about compiling a new page---I don't have the desire to do such a thing!

But I don't, not even for a second, understand those who want to come along and criticize how it is being done. That is just baffling to me. No one is holding a gun to anyone's head saying something must be done a certain way---So, ladies, if you don't like the way something here is being done (i.e. how a new/different FAQ page is being put together), well....Do it yourself. You have no right to whine if you aren't participating in the production of the page. Simply put, if you want to see something constructed the way you want it, you are free to do it yourself.

As I mentioned in the thread below, the sticky I have posted at the top holds a link to The Knot's Wedding Reviews---and it contains far more vendors/reviews that we have ever had on this board alone. The ladies (and gents) that use this board to plan, pale in comparison to the number of couples that get married in Vegas each year. We aren't here to build up or knock down vendors---and, like Olivia said, even if the Knotties here stopped using the more talked about vendors, they wouldn't go out of business....

I have a suggestion:
Hopefully Stinkerbell will continue working on the FAQ page that she has already spent several hours compiling of most popular vendors. Than if anyone else would like to compile there own detaild list of vendors using their own parameters they should do so. $20 says no one steps up to the plate.

Well damn, now I kinda wanna step up to the plate. I'm poor, and $20 could buy me a weeks worth of Dunkin' Donuts.

Stinker, I think it was really, really nice that you stepped up and took on this project. No matter what you decide to do about the future of the project, just wanted to say THANKS for all the work you have done thus far and APPRECIATE the time you gave to help other brides. Try to focus on all the positive feedback and don't let the negative frustrate you.

Stinkerbell - I totally appreciate you stepping up to the plate to re-do the FAQ page! I hope my comment in the other post (about agreeing with Mloeks) didn't mean to sound criticizing, I was only offering a suggestion. You can do whatever you want with it!

Sunny - No worries! I see where you were coming from on the issue....and you were fine in how you expressed your opinion. I did not care for the attack that mloeaks had on me for my concerns about adding a vendor who has had past issues with knotties and The Knot.
