I enjoyed her show too. I plan on working on my taxes today. We made ourselves a fancyish dinner for the Super Bowl and it was yummy.

Morning

Fi had to leave again he said only for a few days this time but everytime he says that it is way longer. So I plan on doing laundry and cleaning while he is gone.

This is kind of a silly question. When do people usually rsvp by?
It has been bothering me.

It is warmer than it has been but it is foggy. I can't wait for it to be warm!

Everyone I watched the SB with liked Beyonce, too! Boo, haters.

I'm really happy with all of the wedding stuff we got checked off this list this weekend. On Friday I went and picked up my dress (she is perfect), on Saturday we did a dessert tasting (again, perfection), and on Sunday we did our first registry at BB&B.

Today I am working until 1, then I have class until 4 (definitely not prepared), and then I have a phone interview at 4:30. I'm so nervous -- this is basically my dream job, so I obviously really want to knock it out of the park.

My appointments got cancelled today, so I'm heading to Ikea with my stepmom and aunt. I've got class tonight and have to write a unit test before tomorrow night, I'm a little stressed about it this unit was alot of new material and a ton of terminology. I've made up my flash cards, so I'll be taking them with me to ikea. Good luck Pickle!!

I didn't watch the SB, it's not really a big thing up here. I watched "My Week with Marilyn" that I pvred ages ago. I'm not sure that I liked Michelle Williams as Marilyn - I didn't hate her, I was just meh...

SNOW DAY!!

FI got his call at 530 this morning, mine came shortly after 6. I don't mind being woken up and told that I don't have to go to work! I'm about to do my workout and I might empty the laundry room to prep it for painting. Or, I might just lie around all day and be lazy - bonus day!

Storm is supposed to last through the night. It might be too much to hope for to get two days, but I'm still crossing my fingers! (We have a ridiculous field trip planned for tomorrow, and if school is cancelled, we might not be able to reschedule)

Snow day for Jenny! Woo Hoo!

I remember when I was in college (in northern Idaho, so we were supposed to be all used to the snow) we had 3 snow days in a row. It was glorious.

I had a lovely time watching the Puppy Bowl yesterday, then watching Dr. Who instead of the Super Bowl. I forgot to do laundry yesterday though, so this morning is turning into a "where is a clean, presentable shirt I can wear to work?!" party.

And I'm making baked fried rice and peanut chicken tonight for dinner, I'm excited just thinking about it.

I loved Beyonce last night! I thought she did amazing.
I got alot of wedding stuff accomplished over the weekend...recieved the STDs in the mail, and already addressed them. Decided on a cardbox I want to make & started getting supplies. Met with the Pastor for the first time. Overall, good weekend.
Today I decided that I didnt really want to bother with dinner to much when I get home. So, I decided to just throw a random mix of things in the crock pot & hope for the best. I browned some chicken breasts with some chicken taco seasoning, then I put in in the crock with campbells cheese soup & a can of rotel. Planning on making taco rice and corn with it. Maybe even some homemade tortilla chips. Hoping it turns out good!
Other than that, Im already counting down the minutes until I get to go home.

Sierra, what kind of card box are you making? I'm torn between doing an old school mailbox or a birdcage.

Three snow days in a row! Sounds like winning a lottery! (I'm still hoping for tomorrow, so we'll miss the field trip. Lame one that might not get rescheduled ...)

I took out ground beef for supper, and totally forgot that I already had chicken in the fridge. Guess I'm cooking both - one for supper and one to use for lunches!

Hi ladies! I didn't watch the SB, but I did win $100 on the 3rd quarter score! H almost won $700 on the final score, but the safety at the end of the game screwed that up. He wasn't a happy camper.

My car wouldn't start this morning. H eventually got it to start, but I was afraid of getting stranded at work with it, so we swapped cars for the day. There is a Firestone auto center right by his work, so I'm hoping he decides to stop and get me a new battery.

I have a doctor appointment after work and I'll have to leave early. So, once again, I am crazy busy.

Snow Day for Jenny, woohoo! How much snow do you have to get for that to happen?

Sounds many of you guys had a productive wedding related weekend! That's great!

H and I went to a Super Bowl party. I don't care about football in the least bit, but I went for the food and to hangout with friends. Sunday binge eating combined with Saturday drinking at beer festival with friends has resulted in my need for a major detox week, and hopefully a new kick start to getting back into the diet. So tonight we're having salad with chicken on top.

Sierra, are you new to the boards? Or have I just not been paying attention? Either way, welcome!

We're forecasted to get 30-ish cm, which isn't a lot really, it's the wind that closes schools. When the visibility drops and the busses aren't safe, that's when we shut down. This is supposed to last through the night too, and the temperature is supposed to go up. If that happens, we might get more snow too. Right now it's still kind of cold.

Pickle - how did interview go?

Guess it's too bad I didn't watch the entire SB; I got bored when the lights went out so I went to the bedroom to read. Guess I missed an exciting 2nd half.

lls - I had battery probs last week too. I was afraid to go anywhere, but H has decided that we don't need a new battery. I think on the one day I had the problem it was because some light was left on inside the car + the "door ajar" light was on as well so I think it drained the battery and it was colder than a witche's you know what. Not Jenny Lee cold, but colder than it's been all season.

lol - I had no idea I was a description! When my battery was questionable we cleaned the contacts. They were a little corroded. Might be worth a look.

Who'd a thunk it? A wedding forum where women talk about car batteries ...

FI is out trying to clean up some of the snow, just in case we have to work tomorrow. There is about 5-6 ft of snow at the end of the driveway where the plow has been by, and the drifts in the driveway are at least 4ft deep. If my snowmobile wasn't in pieces, I'd totally be driving it to school tomorrow.

I'm still hoping that we get tomorrow too. Cleanup is going to be brutal!

Stay safe JL!! We freak out in Ontario over a couple of feet of snow and call in the army! LOL, I don't think Toronto will ever live that down!
