  DH was just promoted the day before Thanksgiving and now he found out he's getting another promotion! You have to be in one position for 90 days before you can move up, but still, we're excited about it! 
  
  

  It's not his ideal job, by any means, but it's great for us while we're still young and in college and whatnot.

  I submitted my first grant as a postdoc! It was a crap-ton of work so hopefully it pays off. Also, hope we get a budget next year without cuts to the sciences, that will help everyone's chances. 

  Now, my brain can focus on the wedding again. I keep having nightmares that we're all trying to figure out who is going to do everyone's hair and makeup the morning of my wedding.

  Today was awesome!  I found out I GET A VACATION!!!!  December 23 - January 8th I don't have to work or take time off.  YAY!  I'm just really excited that I finally get a vacation.
