DJ: (there will be 3 ppl coming from this company -2 DJs and 1 MC)
Big Will
Power Parties LLC.
-Planning process: Met with him at 7:30 at night bc hubby gets out late from work he was awesome and we all clicked that night, hubby decided to book them right there.
-Day of: AMAZING! That’s really all I can say. We had a blast.
Photographer: (One Person)

-Planning process: He was the first photographer I met that day and after sitting down with hubby and telling him all the pros and cons of the other 4 vendors my dad n I met, we choice them. Steve is such a down to earth person and personality wise I loved. Plus they have an amazing packet for pics. And anytime I had a question a quick email later or phone call I’d get my reply! LOVE
-Day of and beyond: Bryant was our photogher that day, LOVE him, everyone had amazing things to tell me of him just by meeting him and the pics came out beautiful!!!
Trash the Dress: We did our pics with Steve that day and OMG they are gorgeous everyone after getting over the fact I just did a trash the dress fell in love with the pics!

-Planning Process: recommended by powerparties, his quality of work is amazing, prices are too. Very nice guy and communication wise great too.
-Day of and beyond: They took video from all over, every angle, on the floor, etc. Dying to see my video!!
Linens:

-Planning Process: I felt that sometimes communication was a hit and miss but otherwise great company to rent the linens and such.

-Planning Process: A bit slow on the communication process but great prices.

-Planning Process: I went crazy looking for someone bc of unique circumstances we have, Karen at parkland sent me to her…Quick at responding to my emails and a very loving woman. All of our communication was thru email and didn’t meet with her till wedding day.
-Day of: Everyone loved her, my guests came up to me and were telling what a beautiful ceremony.
Flowers:

Lush Celebrations at Field of Flowers
-Planning Process: Also went crazy with flower search I went to 5 different vendors, none which could work with my budget and actually do what I want for my centerpiece. Sat down with her all nervous crossing my fingers that this place would be the place…and voila it was. Brittany was soooo understanding, saw the ideas I had and helped me make it better.
-Day of: OMG my flowers were beautiful! I really couldn’t ask for more.
Cake:
Dominique Beckers
Dominique’s Couture Cakes
-Planning Process: I was sent to her from Parkland, although they weren’t on my package but due to issues I had with We Take the Cake, I was able to go to anyone I wanted. Dominique is the sweetest person ever…my mom swung by the store and asked if they had any dessert she could buy and Dominique came out from the back room and sent my mom on her way to me with a ton of sample pieces, for free. When I met with her I showed her what I wanted and she understood me right away, even helped me save money. And was able to do the simple cake I wanted without complains.
-Day of: So the truck broke down and cake got there about 1 ½ hrs before we finished with the reception. But the taste was amazing and I actually got all three tiers (no faux second tier), everyone loved the cake look and taste!!
Venue:

Parkland Golf and Country Club
-Planning Process: This place was the 3rd on the list of venues my sister and I went, (I have a 1 ½ yr old sister at the time she was 6 months) we dragged her with us too…Karen was wonderful with the fact that our sister was being a baby and would interrupt us every few mins. First of all when you arrive at the location first thing that comes to mind is ‘oh crap I’m broke for this place’ don’t walk away from the beauty of this place because of that. The venue is gorgeous; it has a typical ballroom but in general an amazing location. Karen is angel! She helped me out so much with everything thru the planning. LOVE!
-Day of: WOW! I had nothing to worry about that day, after pics we got a chance to walk thru everything as things were being set up etc. Karen took care of everything. Love her to death! And every single one of my guest was just awe struck at how stunning the location was.
Hair:
Stan Shapiro
Stanton Mark Hair Design
-Planning Process: Kind of snippy at first, I do realize I was about 1 ½ months from my wedding and hadn’t found anyone to do my hair. But still you don’t come off to a customer snippy about that. He did do a wonderful job on my trial, and he does go to your location added bonus!
-Day of: Hair came out great. But I do remember him charging me more than what he had quoted me on.
Makeup:

-Planning Process: We spoke to email and set everything up. Such a sweet and amazing person, btw. She came over my house for the trial and loved her.
-Day of: She did pretty much everyone’s makeup (airbrush) and let’s just say we all looked quite amazing! Would so recommend!
Limo:
I left this up to my husband bc of coworker of his, his dad, owns a limo company. Well as it happens to be he was not able to do it for us that day but subcontracted another guy. The guy got to the house on time, came out and asked for the money right away. He got us to the location and the pictures are up front in the garden, etc. He was not happy he had to wait and kept rushing us and in the end was like look I have to go and left us there, thank god we had our cars over there and we drove ourselves thru the gates and to the ceremony and reception spot.
