  I know what you mean, i moved to Dallas and even having family in Miami, its not easy planning a wedding while your so far.

  Whats an estimate cost for a partial planner? Im wondering how much extra i need to budget out for this...
  like a few thousand? Ahh im so clueless.

  I'm planning a Palm Beach County wedding from Long Island, and really could not do it without my planner, Jennifer Johnson.
  
  usually planners charge a percentage of your total budget, but i'm sure most negotiate too

   I second Guerdy.  I did her partial planning package and she did our decor- she's a rockstar.  A +++ service and taste.  I was in Atlanta finishing up grad school so I know your predicament.  Go for Guerdy!

  OOO!!!  My planner used to do weddings and events in NYC but is down here now.  Her name is Jessica Masi and her company is JCG Events.  She is SO on top of everything.  I originally hired her as my DOC but things got so stressful that I brought her on to help with the design aspect of my wedding.  She is amazing, I highly highly recommend her.  She knows her stuff and is so organized.  GL!
