Makeup Trial Pics, Cake Design, Shoes

I had my makeup trial yesterday.  I love the MUA and hired her because her personality is great and I love her ability to listen to what I want and to work with me until I am happy.

Now let me say I wear little to no makeup on a daily basis and my FH loves my natural look. In fact wearing makeup to me these days means mascara and clear lipgloss.  So yesterday's ending look was nice but my FH, who dropped my the house to be nosy, thought it was too much.  He called my eyelashes fly catchers.  LOL!! 

Anyway, here are some pics.  I figure for the wedding day I am going to have to tell her to find a compromise between camera ready makeup and the natural look.







Now on to cake!!  I came across this design and was sold.  LOVE IT!  This is my inspriattion pic that I am taking with me to my baker appointments next month.  I saw it on weddingwire.com while browsing.








Finally, here are my shoes.  Four inches!!  I must be crazy especially as I don't wear heels but I love the glam look.  If I fall going down the aisle at least I will look good going down.  Hee-Hee.

    I think your makeup looks great.  FI is just not seeing the "whole thing"  It's like trying on nice dresses wearing knee socks & gym shoes - you can't really judge until you get everything put together with the correct shoes and accessories.

    I think the make-up does look natural.  He is used to seeing you without any so anythng will probably be too much.  But, I also agree with Marrin--until you have the whole thing together, it does not make sense.  My dress looked 10x better with hair and make-up then it did when I tried it on for the fitting.

    Cake= GORGEOUS.  What flavor?  Yummmmm!!!

    Shoes=SPECTACULAR  I wore 4 inch shoes as well.  Did not fall down at all during the evening, but man, my dogs were barking by the end of the night.  pictures starting at 3:00, wedding at 5:30, dancing until midnight...

    @malingpa - I don't know about flavors yet but I love orange, lemon, and strawberry.  I am also partial to vanilla creme, bavarian creme, cream cheese, and white chocolate.

    I agree with everyone else on the makeup. I recently had my trial done and FI spent the whole night just staring at me.  I finally washed it off. LOl
    "LOVE" the cake. Its so beautiful. All of your flavors would work.

    Oh girl, that makeup is gorgeous!!  I agree with PP's, that once you have the dress, the hair, the jewellery and the setting it will look perfect!  From the pictures it's not over done at all :)

    I agree with the others...love the makeup!  Looks natural to me...
    Cake is beautiful...and as for the shoes, I too am wearing 4" heels...I like that...if we are going down, at least we will look good doing it...hahahaha!

    your make up looks great!!  it looks natural and not overdone.  Love love love the shoes... Are you wearing a long dress with tulle underneathe?  I'm afraid of getting any shoes with stones and getting stuck on the tulle.

    I think you look beautiful. As far as the shoes go for it lol just make sure you have back ups. I have big glittery platform shoes (not huge but enough) I loved the shoes and with them being the height they are I don't need my dress shortened which was exciting to me lol.
