Update on Michelle Toner Photography

So you ladies have probably seen my posts several times regarding this photographer and her lack of professionalism.  I posted a review about her on weddingwire.com (which is obviously reads).  She sent me another hate message on facebook.  I reported her to the better business bureau and will continue to tell other brides my story as long as she continues to do business.  She replied to my review of her stating that she sent me a refund and that I cashed the check - COMPLETE lie!!  LOL 

There is nothing she can do to hurt me now, so she is just going to try and slander me!!!  So again, I beg you ladies NOT to use her in the future!! 

I have had 4 people contact me trying to get contact information for her, because they too did not get what they were promised.

    I think she is just mad that she cannot do anything to hurt me now.  I have a copy of every email that was ever sent.  I don't think she is done shooting weddings or she wouldn't take the time to defend herself on a wedding webpage.  Such is life!!  :)

    I'm really glad you reported her to the BBB.  We always check BBB and because her business uses her name, hopefully this will help others.

    One of the people that contacted me was a mother of someone who wasn't getting there stuff.  Another one ended up getting her photos through Lynn (our replacement photographer). And I have several who were supposed to be using her, and she had that email saying she was no longer conducting business and to reply with your address for a refund - and they never got their refunds or a response through email. 

    One person specifically asked me to be discreet.  The people waiting on refunds are probably not writing anything to make her mad by the sheer hope that she will still send their refunds.  It is complete bull. 

    I just don't see if she isn't continuing to do business, why she would defend herself on a webpage.  I wouldn't be surprised if she made up all those glowing reviews on the other webpage.....

    All I can say is WOW!  I just read her response as well and I'm sorry that you're still dealing with this.  Hopefully those other people will write reviews once they have their refunds back!

    I am so sorry this happened to you.

    Her level of unprofessionalism makes me sick!  Really, it turns my stomach.

    I definitely feel we dodged a bullet with this photographer!!!

    As many of you know we cancelled our contract once we found out Michelle couldn't shoot our wedding anymore and would send her daughter as a replacement.

    I am sooo sorry you are going through this!

    There are brides on Wedding Wire that are knotties and i could point you to specific ones. Those brides didn't cause this situation and shouldn't be made to feel bad/guilty/etc. The photographer did.
    That being said, I agree that this situation and a couple of others that brides have mentioned have been completely unprofessional. As a past bride, I would have wanted to see those bad reviews - and know about your experience - as well to make an informed decision.  I will probably get bashed for saying that, but the brides do have a right to feel the way they do and to post reviews.
    Photographers get upset when only "model-lilke" brides are posted on Websites for marketing, well, keep it real then. Owning up to the mistake, admitting it and rectifying it and others, would have been the best way to address it.
    I wish you all the luck.
    I hope the bride that came in who hadn't gotten her photos has finally gotten them. I can't imagine. I'd be devasted. There is no way possible to replace that "after the fact." I never did see if she got her situation satisfied...

    I am also having problems with her. My wedding was in March and I've had several issues with her. She sent me the disk with my pictures but there are other things that we paid for that we have not received. I was also supposed to do a Trash the dress session with her and she has not responded to me at all.

    I was very understanding of all of her personal problems, not to mention that she sent her daughter to shoot our wedding and didn't bother to let me know that she wasn't going to be there until my DOC called the day before.  Besides our venue she was our most expensive vendor and it really makes me mad that it resulted this way.
    I have called her, left mssgs on the vm for the Lake Tahoe resort that she said she is working at now, and have sent her several emails... no response.
    Maybe the only way I will get a response is if I write a review on wedding wire.
