Shower hostess gifts

I'm thinking about what to get my mom and FMIL for hostess gifts. I thought about doing chocolate covered strawberries from Edible Arrangements, but was thinking I'd have them delivered to their office/home the Monday following the Saturday shower. Should i be giving them something AT the shower or does this sound like an OK idea?

    I think that sounds like a wonderful idea!!  Giving it to them after the shower is best in my opinion.  I would verbally thank them at the shower, to give them some recognition, but the gift post shower sounds great to me :)

    I think this is a great idea! Several brides on here have mentioned sending them after the shower, so I think you are in the clear as far as that goes!

    Like PP said - thank them at the shower, but sending the gift after is fine! Just make sure they're home (not necessarily at time of delivery, but I mean not OOT for a trip or something)

    I think sending them later will be fine.  I gave mine out at the wedding....it really doesn't matter when you give them as long as you thank them.
