Reading your guys post is reminding me that just becuase, the wedding is destionation, there are alot of little things that needs to be done.

- Gifts for parents and bridal party

- Intinary for the day before the wedding

- Intinary for the day of the wedding

- Check list for packing for bridal party... trying to be helpful for those coming

- Complete and ship the bouquets

- Decide how the wedding to go (program)

-pick my hair peice and shoes

Am I missing something? Help !!!!

I stumbled into this forum for the first time yesterday. I'm getting married 6-9-12 and just about had a panic attack when I read all the things you ladies have completed that I haven't even started!!

I have a florist, photographer, officiant, venue, wedding cake maker, pianist and DJ. That's about it I think! I'm going to call my mom and see about going dress shopping again on Monday - I've been to 4 places already and haven't found anything that I love.

If it helps, as christmas gifts I gave both our parents and grandparents personalized photo albums. Of course they were empty, they understood that pictures were to follow. I found these ones on the bed bath & beyond wedding website. I got the ones for our parents that said "Our Daughter's Wedding" and "Our Son's Wedding" they made both moms cry. For the grandparents I found nice ones at Joanns.

don't feel bad michelle!! I just started planning my 6/9 wedding and so far I have the venue and DJ. that's it! officiant is probably done too, just have to verify. Guest list w/ addresses should be done by the beginning of Jan, so I have TONS left- photog, vid, florist, dress, bridal party, etc etc etc...i get a panic attack every time I look at those check lists!!

Yes alot of the big things are done, the dress, the venue, the colors, the time. and I am working on bouquets now. I did contact the travel agent about my sea shell dilema. (making sure I can send them over). I just need to start working on the interinary and checklist. The wedding coordinator in the Dominica Republic may be able to assist me with the inteniary for Wednesday. That would only give me my iteniary for the wedding da ( Thrusday)
