Cigars

So I wanted to do something special for my groom since he opted for no bachlor party, I was thinking of having a cigar lounge at the reception...the problem is I know nothing about cigars or how to make an atmosphere for the lounge....any advice is welcomed. If anyone know a cigar lounge enthusist please let me know! Thanks!

We're having a cigar "bar" at our reception so I've done a little research on it. I'm not sure what the laws are in Cali but here in NC, you can't smoke anywhere inside. So most reception sites won't permit you to have any type of smoking lounge inside. I can't imagine you would really want to have one inside though, IMO cigars smell awful and might stink up the place.

We're just having a table set up outside with a few boxes of cigars, matches, cigar cutters, and cigar ashtrays. If it's in your budget you could always have a cigar roller come in and hand roll each cigar. However, every quote I received was around $1000 so we decided against it.

Also, be careful about your tux policy. Some stores will charge you a hefty cleaning fee if they smell any kind of smoke on the tuxes.

Awesome advice, didn't even think about the tuxes! I actually found this amazing company in CA who we are going to have come to the reception and will be there to help people pick the right flavor and have them light up! Lucky find and very affordable! ( I did find the rollers which were in the same pricing as what you said, very expensive!) Thank you again for the help!
