Makeup Artist Prices?

Hi Ladies!

I'm about to start looking for a makeup artist for my big day.  I have one in mind already, but I'm trying to get an idea on price and what I can expect.  What types of prices have you ladies run into for day-of and trial?  I'm going to ask her to do makeup on-site.

    I am paying $225 for a trial and on site makeup application day- of!

    wow sb- i thought mine was pricey! Mine is charging $125 for me and $100 for the bridesmaids.

    I'm going with Jennifer Bernhardt. She's amazing! It's $150 for the wedding day, $75 for the trial, and $75 for the maids and moms.

    I also went with Jen, $150 is reasonable and she is AMAZING!!!!

    Mine will be somewhere around $225 I think, for make up and hair...  but it's not on site,  I'm going to my regular salon.

    Her name is Hailey, I don't know her last name.  She used to work at Rolf's but does freelance now.  I'm going to call her tomorrow to ask about prices.

    I'm using Stephanie Nault...$270 for me, two bridesmaids and my mother on-site, and $50 for the trial!

    I'm having people come to me.  $1350, but it includes hair and airbrush makeup for 5 BM's, MOB, MOG, and me.

    I used Stephanie Nault as well. She charge me $50 for a trial which I did the same day as my engagement photos so I could see how it would photograph. It came out great in those so we booked her!!
    My wedding day make-up was amazing. I don't thinking I ever felt so beautiful (the white dress and bling also made me feel pretty fabulous) and my make-up looked flawless in our wedding photos. My husband still tells me how beautiful he thinks I looked on our wedding day. Stephanie made me feel like a Hollywood starlett! She charges depending on party size if I remember correctly. She did make-up for me, my mom, and 3 bridesmaids and I don't remember how much it was exactly but I believe mine was $75 and everyone else's was $50. She is one of my top 3 vendors for the day :)

    Just spoke with Haley- it's going to be $150 for me and $75 for my bridesmaids.  Sounds like that's pretty middle of the road.  I'm giving my bridesmaids the option as to whether or not they will get their makeup professionally done, as I can't afford to pay to have all of their makeup done.  We'll see what they choose.  They're all getting their hair done for free because I'm a hairstylist and have some girls doing me favors ;).
