Unique Reception Venues

I'm having trouble finding unique venues! Does anyone have any suggestions from either their own search or just from events you've been to?

Our wedding is going to be about 100 people and we want something different than the typical ballroom! I've looking into museums such as the Whaling Museum or Larz Andersen Auto Museum but because of our budget, we need something where there isn't a room rental fee + tables and chairs + a caterer. We need something where everything is pretty much included.

Any ideas would be so helpful!! I'm looking for anything in the RI, Southeast MA area. Thanks!!!

I would look at Bittersweet Farm in Westport, MA.

I'm not sure of a lot of places that aren't ballroom-esque that includes a caterer. I am getting married at Kinney Bungalow at Sunset Farm and they do not include any of what you mentioned.

I got married at Easton Beach rotunda. Our venue had a old fashion carousel and it was right on the beach. There are definitely quite a few non-traditional options like the Roger Williams Botanical Garden, Cav restaurant in Providence is a beautiful place to host a formal affair. I also love the Roger Williams University Global Heritage Hall but it is only available when school is not in session. There are also quite a few nautical venus like Bristol Harbor Inn, Herorshoff Museum , IYRS (International Yacht Restoration School) and Fort Adams (tented venue). I also like the charming Meeting House in Tiverton and Aldrich House in Providence is very pretty. Most of these venues require outside catering but some include tables and chairs as part of the rental fee. And if you have the budget, Blithewold Mansions and Garden is breathtaking! And while the Squantum Association of East Providence is used to hosting events, I still find it unique because of the feel of the setting. The historic Linden House in Bristol is also beautiful for weddings year round. None of these venues are your typical country club or banquet hall or hotel venue so they do offer some unique challenges but are no doubt unforgettable settings for weddings.

We are getting married at Gillette Stadium! I know that they also do weddings at Fenway Park and the Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport. You would definitly have to be into one of those sports to want to be married there but if so, those are my suggestions

We're getting married at the Providence Biltmore. I know it's a hotel, but it's vintage, with a penthouse ballroom that overlooks the city. Gorgeous.

Places to check out: Independence Harbor or The Harrington Farm.

I am not sure if these are inclusive or just rentals, but other possibilities might be Mount Hope Farm, Aldrich Mansion (Warwick), Bristol Yacht Club, Atlantic Beach Club.
