  My FI is a fireman so I'm trying to do something with firetrucks in the wedding. but not making it completely that theme.
  
  I was thinking of a firetruck groom cake with a ladder leaning towards (but not touching!) my big cake. I also found a funny cake topper that i'd use on top of the groom cake.

  I wanted to do one but it's just not in the budget for me. But if I was going to, I'd probably do something Minecraft-related since FI and I like to play that together.

  FI's family is really into funfetti (the stuff that comes in a box) with vanilla, cream cheese, or white frosting.

  
  

  Since I've been known to make pie in a jar and mac n cheese in a jar... the groom's cake will be cupcake in a jar... I think this will be good because there's already so much food at the reception, I don't think anyone will have room for 2 cakes...

  I am doing a grooms cake.  My fiance works for UPS, and it has always been the joke that he is torn between his two Loves...me and UPS...soooo...I am having a cake made shaped like a UPS delivery truck, hopefully with a little bride and groom hanging off the back...I am super excited about it, and he has NO idea!!!

  Just as a thought...if it is something you are truely interested in, on FaceBook, look up High Stakes Cakes...she is awesome, and super creative, and so willing to work with your budget...thats who's doing mine... I found her on Mommy's Little Black Book Facebook page...she also gives a 20% discount I believe if you let her know you found her through MLBB.  Definately worth atleast talking to her...tell her Aubree MacIntosh and MLBB sent you...if you cant find her on FB message me and I will send you more information.

  My fiancee is a huge fan of comic books - he's been collecting since he was a kid.  So I am having a two tier cake - one that features images of his favorite comic books around the outside and the top will be his current favorite comic book and tv show - Walking Dead.  So there will be zombie hands coming out of my groom's cake:)  We are having it at the rehearsal dinner because there is going to be sooooo much food at the wedding.  I know he is going to love it.  I think it's the part of the wedding I am most looking forward to because I know he will be so excited about it!
