Which silhouette & neckline do you like better on my body shape?

I'm about to make you very confused. haha

If I HAD to pick, I would say that I prefer the neckline of #2 MUCH better on you. The first dress sort of swallows your upper body and I'm looking at the dress, not at you. You want all eyes on YOU on your wedding day.

HOWEVER, I like the silhouette of the first dress better. I much prefer the drop waist on you (makes you look longer and leaner) than the natural waist of the "princess" dress.

Dress #2 looks more flattering on you. The waist on dress 1 hits you at the widest point of your waist. Where as dress 2 hits you at the smallest point. It really makes your waist look tiny and it is overall more flattering on you. Just my opinion

IMO it's no contest and the second one is more flattering. Are you petite? It looks like the first gown is swallowing you up whereas the second gown fits proportionately. But the bigger question is which gown is more your style? They are two completely different looks - one is soft and romantic and the other is glam and more formal.

No I'm a size 14 and 5'6". I wasnt planning to try to lose weight for my wedding but after dress shopping/looking I have a little motivation

I like how #1 fits your silhoutte better, but I'm not sure I care for all the coverage up top. I think you could definitely pull off #2 if the skirt of the dress wasn't so "poofy".....it's just seems like it's really overwhelming you.

My initial reaction is to favor #2, but after looking a little closer at the two, I think the poofy-ness of the 2nd dress just adds bulk. The drop waist on #1 is much more flattering, as is the lack of extra bulky material. I think the strapless look is nicer though, but I don't care for the sweetheart necklines at all, so I would change that. If you can find a dress that has a combination of the two positives from each dress, I think that would be the best. My 2 cents

I actually favor one more, I think it slims you and is much more unique than the second gown. The sweetheart neckline makes your boobs look huge.

While dress #1 is pretty and unusual (although becoming very popular lately), Dress #2 looks so much more flattering on you.

I agree the drop waist of the first dress really flatters your figure! Love the overall shape/look on you - it def has more of a WOW factor on you than the second dress. But agreed that the first dress has a lot of coverup and a lot of lace.

But definitely depends on what you're looking for. Are you deciding between these two dresses in particular? Or just getting an idea of what style looks better?

the neckline on #2 is better but the shape of the dress is too poofy for you. it makes you look bigger than you look in the first dress. but the neckline on #1 it to much.

If you're wearing your hair up, the first dress would be awesome - i love the neckline and silhouette (and am biased because my favourite dress for me so far is *sort* of similar). If your hair is going to be down, I vote against dress one because it would be too much going on....so poll vote, I go for 1.
