The lady in my area who went missing last weekend was found dead :(  So very sad.

    No specifics, just that there are 2 men in custody.  Apparently when the FBI stepped in, there was a tip line set up and several tips were called in.  A news conference has been set up for this afternoon, so I might know more later.

    I also found out the lady is a my friend's husbands aunt.  (friend's aunt-in-law)

    That is so scary!  I love to run outside but I feel like it's just not safe to go alone anymore...it's so sad.

    I really wish we had TV in the office.  We've been talking about it- not so we can watch soaps and stuff like the guys think- but so we can watch news. 

    This, along with the oil boom, has created a huge uproar in safety concerns.  Sales for stunguns and pepper spray has gone WAY up, and the applications for CWPs have as well.  It's all great- if you know what you're doing.  But the general population doesn't know how to handle a gun properly, so I think it could be more dangerous than simply knowing how to be safe.

    I couldn't tell you how many women I've told recently "Look people in th eye!  When you are in public and a man looks at you, look him in the eye! You are far less likely to be attacked when you are aware of your surroundings and a potential attacker sees that you have/can identify him."  You wouldn't believe the number who have responded to me "hmm, I always just look away or at the ground when they stare"

    That's so scary. Unfortunately, I can't run outside in my area because the crime rate is so high and it's just not safe... Sorry this is happening and it's hitting so close to home :(
