Bridesmaid dresses for under $60?

Hey girls, anyone up for a challenge?

I'm starting to look for bridesmaids dresses now.. I only have 3 girls, but 2 live in different parts of the state so I need to find something either online or easily found at chain/dept stores. 2 of the girls are on very tight budgets, hence the low price range.. I may have to jump in and pay for them, but I am on a tight budget too, lol, so hoping to keep it under $60-70.

Our wedding colors are deep brown and chartreuse, but I don't care if they're not those colors. I like gray/charcoal colored dresses, or any pale pink or wisteria or "vintage-y" colors. I found lots of dresses at Target.com and Macy's in this price range, but they are mostly black and I don't know if that would be too dark for an outdoor wedding?? Plus, am nervous about the quality of the Target ones.. many are only online so I can't see them in person beforehand.

Looking for v-neck, strapless, or sleeveless dresses, but open to anything, really! I also want it to be a dress that they can wear again after the wedding.

Thanks in advance!

  • Have you checked Overstock.com? They have a wide selection.

I would also suggest Nordstroms. They're not known for being affordable, but I just looked at their website and they have some cute bridesmaids dresses on sale from $49 to $93. Hope this link takes you to the page I was looking at.

    Also lulus.com is pretty affordable.

  • I agree with Nordstrom. They have good sales. Jcrew also puts some of their styles and colors on sale, so it helps to check their pages frequently.

Surprisingly, Target has cute BM dresses.

I also like a lot of the styles from Ruche. They remind me of Anthropologie but more reasonably priced. Depends on the formality of your wedding:

  • Thank you!

Yeah, I was checking the Nordstrom's sales page and I really like a lot of their styles, but the colors are sooo bright - ie. teal, hot pink, green, etc. I may just have to keep checking - I'm still 8 months out from the wedding so I have plenty of time but I'm anxious to just get 'er done, haha.

This is harder than I thought it would be! I love the JCrew sale ones too but I think my girls are a 2, a 4, and a 5-6, so of course the ones I like don't have them available in all those sizes. so annoying!

I'll check that Ruche site now - thanks, girls!

  • Since you're on this board I have to assume a vintage-style dress would work? Try www.modcloth.com (their dresses vary in price from around $30 to $300, so sort by price and don't go over your budget LOL!)

Also, there's not much for that price here, but you never know- try www.unique-vintage.com

In all honesty, Urban Outfitters, H&M and Charlotte Russe have excellent dresses, if you have a younger WP. Not very many of their dresses are very "mature" but damn they're cute! haha
