  I will not be having welcome baskets because all my guests are local, but here are some ideas I have read from previous posts:
  
  -Bottled Waters
  -Maps/Directions to nearby attractions
  -Oranges "Florida Oranges"
  -Flip flops for the beach
  -Fans
  -List of nearby restaurants
  -Sunblock
  -Chapstick

  I am doing the following:

  Bottled Waters

  Maps/Nearby Attractions

  Sunscreen

  Miami Magazine

  Chips or Snacks- Preferably something local to Miami

  Homemade Cookies

  Welcome Letter

  since thier not renting cars I would def put a list of local cabs or transport (incase they want to get around) along with the list of nearby resturants..

  In our welcome baskets we are putting:
  bottled water
  orange
  key lime cookies
  granola bar
  sunscreen
  brochure of a map of area, cab numbers, hotel shuttle info and areas of interest within 5 miles (that's how far the hotel shuttle will take guests)
